Divisions

Our goal is to provide a safe and secure environment in which to live, work and play by taking a proactive response to crime trends through enforcement efforts, public education and utilization of crime prevention techniques.

ADMINISTRATION

It is the mission of the Graham Police Department to deliver professional, effective services, fairly and ethically, in a respectful manner, to all people, to prevent crime, and enhance the overall quality of life for our citizens and visitors; to encourage and promote community involvement on all levels to achieve these goals.

SUPPORT SERVICES

• A Crime Prevention Officer is available to conduct a security survey.

• Women's self defense courses are structured for women and available throughout the year.

• Animal Control is provided M-F 8-5.

• School Resource Officer is assigned to the GISD.

CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION

The Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for investigating crimes to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to file a case with the Young County District Attorney's Office. The division also secures search and arrest warrants, and maintains property and evidence.

PATROL DIVISION

At GPD, we are not satisfied with simply getting the job done. It is our goal to relentlessly pursue excellence in all that we do. Using a blend of community and intelligence-led policing, GPD is able to target crime areas while maintaining genuine and productive relationships with the community.
